Welcome back to the Summer Term!
Our topic this term is Changes. There are many exciting subjects that we are learning about; climate zones and biomes in Geography, The Stone Age in History.
Kestrel Class are fortunate to be involved in two Science projects this term: Dirt is Good (learning about soil) and The Eden Project (learning about biodiversity and mapping). COVID permitting we will be going on a trip to The Eden Project. More information to follow about these projects.
PE will continue on a Wednesday. Please make sure Kestrels have their kit in school.
We are checking reading records again on Fridays. Please encourage your child to keep a record of the books they are reading, days they have read and pages read. Please sign if you have heard your child read.
Spellings will be sent home on a Monday and assed on a Friday. SPaG/Maths will be sent home on Tuesday's and needs to be returned the following Monday. Finally, home learning challenges. Please read the grid for more information.
The team in Kestrel Class are really looking forward to the fun and learning this exciting topic will bring.
We use Spelling Shed to support spellings in Kestrel Class. Spellings are practiced in school daily and given as homework on a Monday to be checked in class on a Friday.
